How do I download the free version ?

Create a directory (folder) on your hard disk drive anywhere you like called CLC. This is where you will download the file chain2demo.zip from the Internet.

Choose save rather than open in the window that is presented.

Choose the directory CLC to download the files into. You created this directory in first step.

Obtain a zip program, if you do not have one. WinZip for windows is a good one. You can get a free trial version at www.download.com. After you install the zip program, unzip the file you downloaded from here, which should be in CLC called chain2demo.zip

RUN the program file called CHAIN1.EXE by clicking on it from windows explorer. If you did everything correctly, it will be in the CLC folder. It has a green icon that looks like a chain link diamond. Different versions may have different names but they all start with CHAIN and end with *.EXE (the * is a wild card designator). You may not be able to see file extensions in windows explorer (or My Computer) unless you enable that option within windows.

The program does nothing to your Windows configuration files.
The program must stay within the CLC folder to work properly. If you put it on your desktop, you will have to set the shortcut properties to start the program in the CLC directory. It is better to create a shortcut rather than move the main program.
